The Cure Tank Top
The Cure were formed back in 1978 and hail from West Sussex in England. Their debut album was released in 1979 which got them included in the post punk and new wave genres which were just starting to take over the UK at the time. Following the release of their second album, and following lead singer Robert Smith's stage look, they began to move towards the emerging genre of goth rock - and indeed are considered one of the founders of this movement (despite the band's dislike of this categorisation).
