Coming straight of Long Beach, California, Suicidal Tendencies was formed by lead singer Mike Muir in 1980. Originally starting as a "party band" and never planned to be a full time thing, it wasn't long before they began to rise in fame. Starting off in the hardcore punk vein, it wasn't long before they began to transition into thrash metal - they are considered one of the fathers of crossover thrash! Still going to this day, albeit with Mike the sole founding member, they continue to show why they have lasted so long!
