Dimmu Borgir Tee
Hailing from the home of black metal, Dimmu Borgir were formed in 1993 in Norway. Their name comes from a volcanic formation in Iceland with the same name which stands for "dark cities" in Icelandic and Old Norse. Although early albums were heavily black metal influenced, their later albums would experiment with synthesizers and classical tones, leading them to be a more symphonic black metal band.
